Travel Talk: Summer in London

A travel review of a summer stay in London’s Shoreditch neighborhood including top-tier hotel, shopping, and dining recommendations.

Episode Summary

Ava and Najee give their best high-level travel review of a few days spent in London’s Shoreditch neighborhood; the epicenter of hipsters, vintage shops, coffee on every corner, and a multitude of restaurants at your doorstep.

Coincidentally, these queens of justifying purchases both bought bulky winter sweaters on their shopping adventures despite being steeped in peak summer heat - or are they called jumpers?

They had to partake in at least one cringey tourist attraction, in this case the London Eye, which delivered very Instagrammable views of the city. A stroll through central London provided amazing scents at the Hyde Park Rose Garden, an unusual amount of American Candy Stores (wtf?) and a delicious lunch at BAO in Soho. They topped the trip off with a visit down to Brixton to learn about Black British history.
